My Desires

It is very typical that I browse social media to assist in establishing elaborate plans which consist of themed activities and over-the-top ideas.

Not all my plans result as I plan. (Always expect the unexpected)

This year, I plan to tap into my ability to make my dreams come true.

I will get an early start on gathering the addresses of friends and family.

When my fingers cramp from writing the addresses of several households; I will breathe, pause and reset. I will express gratitude for our relationship. I will recall the characteristics that make our bond unique. I will cherish all the relationships I have with each.

I will carefully address everyone with the memories I have, hoping to create a new future memory. I will put the cards in the mail in adequate time for them to receive. I will triple check to make sure I put a stamp on the envelope.

The holidays will soon be here. Already, time has been creeping away.

Today, I have the desire to get these cards stamped, mailed and delivered.

Tomorrow, I hope to have the same desire.
